Blacklion.lv — multilingual truck tyre catalogue and management system
Currently in development. Blacklion.lv combines a technical truck tyre catalogue, parameter-based selection, and a custom CMS for products, translations, content, and SEO.
Blacklion.lv is a product-focused website for Blacklion truck tyres in Latvia. Fleet operators, transport companies, and service businesses can explore tread profiles, narrow the range by axle position, application, and size, then open the technical details for a specific model. A custom administration system sits behind the catalogue, giving the team direct control over day-to-day content.
The challenge
A technically dense tyre range had to become a catalogue that is straightforward to browse. Visitors need a short route from an operational requirement to a suitable profile, while administrators must manage models, sizes, images, PDF specifications, and four language versions in one place. Search visibility and a protected internal workspace were part of the same brief.
What was implemented
- A responsive public website in Latvian, Russian, English, and German, built around a consistent Blacklion identity.
- Catalogue search and filters for model, size, axle position, application, and tyre marking.
- Dedicated profile pages with benefits, available sizes, axle diagrams, PDF specifications, and a clear consultation route.
- A custom CMS for pages, tread profiles, size variants, translations, media, menus, and redirects from legacy URLs.
- Editable SEO fields, canonical and social metadata, legal pages, and granular cookie consent.
- An activity log, duplicate checks, user administration, database exports, and a media manifest.
The outcome
Blacklion.lv brings the sales catalogue and the work behind it into one system. Product data remains structured, translation coverage is visible, and new profiles, sizes, or content pages can be published without editing the application code.
The project remains in active development: the public website and core CMS modules are operational, while the catalogue, content, SEO, and administration workflows continue to evolve with the range and the business.
