APD.lv — electronics store and ecommerce operations platform
Currently in development. APD.lv unifies a multilingual electronics catalogue, product imports, orders, payments, delivery, content, marketing, and analytics.
APD.lv is being developed as a complete ecommerce platform for electronics and computer equipment in Latvia and the wider Baltic market. Customers receive a clear multilingual storefront with category navigation, filters, comparison tools, and detailed product pages. The store team works from one administration area for catalogue data, imports, orders, delivery, content, campaigns, and technical maintenance.
The challenge
The project had to turn a large supplier-driven catalogue into a straightforward buying journey without making daily operations cumbersome. Product information needed to remain manageable across five store languages, while payment and delivery workflows, SEO controls, customer communication, and sales insight had to be available without maintaining a patchwork of separate tools.
What was implemented
- A public catalogue with category tree, search, filters, product listings, detailed pages, and shopping cart.
- Product comparison, wish lists, price and availability alerts, customer reviews, and related product suggestions.
- Catalogue management with manual entry, supplier import workflows, category structure, filters, and an image library.
- Operational areas for orders, invoices, and payments, including MakeCommerce and Paysera configuration.
- Shipment and tracking workflows prepared for Omniva, DPD, and Venipak delivery services.
- Loyalty and referral programmes, coupons, discounts, banners, and customer-facing content management.
- SEO settings, sitemap and robots controls, product feeds, behaviour analytics, backups, and role-based administration.
Multilingual content and store operations
Latvian, Russian, English, Lithuanian, and Estonian content is maintained through one translation workspace. A separate customer guide explains ordering, payment, and delivery, while editors manage information pages and company details from the same back office. The dashboard also brings together page and product views, cart events, searches, traffic sources, and abandoned-cart signals.
The outcome
APD.lv establishes a shared foundation for the customer-facing store and the work behind it. Catalogue, content, marketing, logistics, and technical controls are visible in one interface, helping the team keep product data consistent and prepare the service for a controlled public launch.
The project is in active development and testing: the storefront and principal administration modules are operational, while production order processing and the final configuration of external payment and delivery integrations are not yet enabled.
